Seahawks QB Sam Darnold ended his 2025 campaign with a Super Bowl ring and will begin the 2026 season with a wedding ring.
Fresh off of his Super Bowl win with the Seahawks over the Patriots in February, Darnold finally tied the knot with his fiancee Katie Hoofnagle. And as you might expect from the now-wife of an NFL champion, Hoofnagle couldn't resist sharing one epic caption to their wedding ceremony.
With the newlyweds flashing their wedding rings for the cameras, Hoofnagle wrote in the caption to one of her photos, "Big year for rings."

NFL fans couldn't help but give Darnold his due for having such an incredible start to the year 2026:

2025 was the year that Sam Darnold finally lived up to all the potential previously seen from the former 2018 first-round draft pick. He enjoyed a career year with the Seattle Seahawks, helped them clinch the No. 1 seed in the NFC, led them on a tear against their two most bitter division rivals in the playoffs, and capped it off with a game-managing performance against the Patriots to claim his first Super Bowl.
