Before the Class of 2026 was officially enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this Saturday, they received a warm welcome from legendary broadcaster Chris Berman.
Berman kicked off this afternoon's festivities with a fun and informed speech about the newest additions to the Hall of Fame. This year's class features New Orleans Saints legend Drew Brees, former San Francisco 49ers running back Roger Craig, Arizona Cardinals star receiver Larry Fitzgerald, Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly and Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri.
Not only did the fans at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium enjoy Berman's speech, those watching this ceremony at home had strong praise for the longtime ESPN sportscaster.

"There was a short time, a very short time, where the internet and social media was doing the thing it always does where they acted like Chris Berman wasn’t good," one fan wrote on X. "Not surprising, they were wrong. Berman should be a Hall of Famer himself."
"Chris Berman still got his fastball," a second fan commented.
"The NFL will always be tied together with Chris Berman for me," another fan said. "That voice and that persona. It doesn’t get much better."
"Hearing Chris Berman talk football is pure greatness," a social media user added.
Who will join the Hall of Fame in 2027?
Most fans expect legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer next season. After all, he had 621 catches for 9,286 yards and 92 touchdowns during his career.
We could also see another tight end earn a spot in Canton since Jason Witten will be on the ballot for the second time.
Adrian Peterson, Eli Manning, Richard Sherman, Ben Roethlisberger and a few other notable players will also be in the running for a spot in the Hall of Fame in 2027.
