Jason Kelce was on the call of Sunday morning’s Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Philadelphia Eagles game in London.
The former Eagles great was part of a three-man booth, along with Dave Pasch and Kurt Warner. Kelce, of course, starred for the Eagles for his entire NFL career. He won a Super Bowl in Philadelphia and will soon be in the Hall of Fame in Canton.
But did Kelce show too much bias toward Philadelphia during Sunday morning’s game?
Some NFL fans think so.
“Jason Kelce is openly pulling for the Eagles while announcing for NFL Network. He’s moaning “oh gosh” when there was a fumble by Philly. Tough to listen to,” one NFL writer, Tony Farmer, shared on X.
But was Kelce actually that biased?
NFL fans are defending him, suggesting that he wasn’t actually showing any real bias on Sunday morning.
Fans defend Jason Kelce’s broadcasting performance Sunday
NFL fans think that he played it down the middle.
“He was “oh goshing” and saying “great play” and talking about hardworking players on both sides of the ball the entire game. Judging him on the last minute of an unbelievable win is so lame,” one fan wrote.
“This is such a lazy take. If you listened to the commentary at all, he was lamenting errors by both teams equally. Get new material and stop whining,” one fan added.
“I thought Kelce was very good in the booth and had lots of insight, in particular, into the Eagles’ offensive line woes,” one fan added.
“He’s been hyped all game on jaguars lol stop hating bro,” one fan added.
What did you make of Jason Kelce’s broadcasting performance on the NFL Network on Sunday morning? Should he get another opportunity? It sounds like he will later on this season, for what it’s worth.
