NFL fans are begging league commissioner Roger Goodell to change the primetime schedule for Week 3.
Week 2 of the 2026 NFL regular season is in the books.
The second week of the 2026 NFL regular season wrapped up with the Rams taking down the Giants on “Monday Night Football.” On Sunday night, the Chiefs took down the Colts in overtime.
But the league’s primetime schedule for Week 3 is looking pretty rough.

Two of the NFL’s three primetime games for Week 3 are looking pretty rough on paper right now:
- Thursday night: Packers vs. Falcons
- Sunday night: Broncos vs. Rams
- Monday night: Bears vs. Eagles
Two of those three games are pretty brutal, as of now. The Falcons have been incredibly boring – and painful – to watch, though perhaps things will change at the quarterback position.
Meanwhile, the Bears are likely to be without starting quarterback Caleb Williams for at least another week or two. It’s difficult to see them giving the Eagles much of a game with their backup quarterback playing.
The NFL doesn’t have flex scheduling this early in the year, so we’re unfortunately going to be stuck with these games, but that’s not stopping fans from begging Goodell to change it at the last minute.
Hopefully, the Falcons will play well for the first time this season, while maybe Williams will make a surprisingly early return for the Bears.
The NFL typically delivers in primetime, though as we head into Week 3, it’s fair for fans around the league to be cautious about the upcoming schedule, given what’s on tap this weekend.
