Hardly a month goes by without former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce being either given some kind of new media role or named as a candidate for one. After news broke that he will be helping ESPN in their coverage of the Masters, a new report on a role he's up for has people downright exhausted.
On Thursday, sports media insider Andrew Marchand reported that ESPN is considering a change to its No. 2 NFL announcing team of Chris Fowler, Dan Orlovsky and Louis Riddick. Per the report, ESPN is considering naming either Kelce or Kurt Warner as the new color commentators along with new play-by-play announcers.
"ESPN expected to change it's No. 2 NFL game-calling team of Chris Fowler, Dan Orlovsky, and Louis Riddick Jr. A potential new booth could include Jason Kelce or Kurt Warner alongside new play-by-play announcers via (Andrew Marchand)," Underdog NFL wrote on X.
"Enough of Jason Kelce"
Kelce has so many different hats on these days between his podcast, commercials and other roles at ESPN that he's seemingly everywhere now. Fans who saw the report have clearly become exhausted at seeing Kelce all the time.
"Trust me when we say this. We don’t want Jason Kelce. Thank you," one user on X replied.
"Stop forcing Jason Kelce on us. He’s insufferable," wrote another.
"Eagles fan here🙋♂️enough of Kelce. (expletive) man I’m fatigued I think we all are, Riddick and Dan do just fine leave it be..." a third wrote.
"They’re going to run out of walls to try and throw Jason Kelce against. Nothing is going to stick. He’s not meant to do anything like that."

As for Warner, NFL fans largely like him but don't feel too strongly. That said, Warner at least has years and years of broadcasting experience that he can lean on.
Kelce, while a big personality who always has something to say, barely has any live NFL action broadcasting experience and mostly covers sports as a panelist and studio member.
The choice (if there is one) should be clear.
