Cris Collinsworth will be on the call of Super Bowl 60 tonight.

The longtime NFL announcer will be on the call for NBC. Collinsworth, a former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, will be calling the game along with play-by-play man Mike Tirico. Sideline reporters Melissa Stark and Kaylee Hartung will also be on the call.

It should be a fun game.

But heading into the game, Collinsworth has already admitted what NFL fans have long suspected: he'll figure out a way to talk about Patrick Mahomes on Sunday night.

Collinsworth is planning on bringing up the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, even though his team isn't playing on Sunday.

“I probably will say Patrick Mahomes’ name and I have no idea why,” Collinsworth joked. “But now that you’ve planted it in my head I assume you bet the over so you’re trying to get me to do that. I have no idea or no plans of what I’m going to do but I’ve read those things. You can’t help but, right? People put them in front of your face all the time.”

NFL fans are already dreading it

"I will turn the sound off if I watch. The best prop bet for the game is how many times will CC say Mahomes. Maybe he will try to raise money to get Pat's dad out of jail," one fan wrote.

"No Jim Nance, No Tony Romo, No Tequilla Troy, No Mahomes, No Travis Kelce and no Tay-Tay, should be a great Superbowl broadcast even if Cris mentions Mahomes," one fan added.

"I think it's a shame we will have to listen to these 2 guys for 3 to 4 hours of the broadcast when there are so many other GOOD announcers that could have been picked for this assignment. Selecting them to do this game forces me to be excited waiting for the commercials?" one fan added.

"This article just ruined my day when I found out Collinsworthless would be calling the Super Bowl. Bad Bunny and Collinsworthless.....you can't do much worse than that!" one fan added.

Will you be listening to Collinsworth on Sunday night?

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. E.T.
