The NFL announced the Super Bowl LX MVP after the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13.

The league shared the news on X with a clear statement. “KENNETH WALKER III IS SUPER BOWL LX MVP. #SBLX” The honor capped a dominant night for the Seattle running back.

Kenneth Walker III rushed 27 times for 135 yards in the win. He also caught two of four targets for 26 yards. Seattle’s offense started slow, but Walker flipped the tone early in the second quarter. He broke off runs of 30 and 29 yards on the same drive. Those plays opened the field and settled the offense.

Walker kept finding space against a tough Patriots front seven. He added four more runs of seven yards or longer. A 49-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter was erased by a holding call. Even so, Walker stayed patient and physical. He handled a heavy workload and closed the game with control.

After the game, Walker thanked God and his teammates.

"First and foremost, I wanna thank God for this, you know, blessing to be here," Walker said. "Also, I wanna thank my brothers. You know, this don't happen without them. Uh, we went through a lot of adversity this season, but we came together, and we stuck together, and, you know, this is what we got."

The MVP award ended a strong postseason run for Walker. He rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns against the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round. Across three playoff games, he also added 104 receiving yards. His balance and burst defined Seattle’s offense.

Walker was drafted by Seattle in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. And now, he has become the first running back to win Super Bowl MVP since Terrell Davis in 1998.
