Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni has received a hefty fine from the NFL for his recent antics.
Sirianni might be the most animated coach in the NFL. It doesn’t matter if his team has a massive lead or is trailing in crunch time, he’s going to let refs know if he disagrees with a certain call. With that being said, the league is putting the Super Bowl-winning coach on notice.
According to Sports Illustrated, the NFL has fined Sirianni $250,000 for his conduct toward game officials. ESPN is reporting that Sirianni’s fine could be repealed with good behavior.
“It wasn’t immediately known when the fines were handed down or from what specific incidents they stemmed,” ESPN added in its report.

The Eagles are in a tough spot.
It’s been a rough week for Sirianni, who lost star quarterback Jalen Hurts for the remainder of the season. His latest test results showed multiple blood clots in the Super Bowl MVP’s lungs.
“Jalen was initially diagnosed by specialists in London with a left calf superficial vein thrombosis,” Hurts’ agent and the Eagles said in a statement. “After further testing and monitoring, the current diagnosis is a deep vein thrombosis, as well as bilateral pulmonary emboli. He is clinically stable and has no significant functional limitations. … During this time, he will not be allowed to participate in any contact activities, including football.”
The good news for the Eagles is Saquon Barkley is on track to return this Monday against the Cowboys. Maybe he’ll restore the positive vibes in Philly.
The Eagles are 2-4 heading into their Week 7 showdown with the Cowboys.
