New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh has fans more excited for the future than they've been in years and he's only getting more support with each speech he gives.
Harbaugh recently did a town hall event with Giants fans where he was asked how confident he is in the team for their games against the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders. Harbaugh responded by declaring that he doesn't care about the past and is solely focused on making every practice the best it can be. He stated that if every practice goes the way he wants it to, the team will be "one more step in the direction of being a good enough football team to kick the Cowboys' (butts)"
“I could care less about what’s happened last year, the year before that, or ten years before that,” Harbaugh said. “Honestly, I don’t give a crap about any of it. Not one bit. All I care about is tomorrow’s practice. Because if tomorrow’s practice is the way it’s supposed to be, that’ll be one more step in the direction of being a good enough football team to kick the Cowboys’ (butts).
“That’s our job. That’s our job to be good enough to do that. We gotta make ourselves good enough to do that. That’s our responsibility.”
As you might expect, the crowd of Giants fans erupted in excitement. Even on social media, where fans have been pretty pessimistic lately, many couldn't help but buy in on what Harbaugh is selling.
"Red meat quotes for the fan base. Love it coach!" one user declared.
"John (expletive) Harbaugh 🔥 INJECT THIS INTO MY VEINS!" wrote another.
"We’ve waited so long for a head coach that’s even capable of producing a winning product," a third wrote.
"That guy asked a great question and Baugh gave an even better answer. This team isn’t led by a PR chicken anymore and they know the narrative, I can’t wait for the season."
"I haven’t been this excited to follow a head coach into battle since 2021."

State of the Giants
The last couple of years have been rough for Giants fans. After making the playoffs in 2022 under first-year head coach Brian Daboll, the Giants slid into a massive funk for three years, going 13-38 in that span and finishing dead last in their division over the past two seasons.
But with Harbaugh's championship pedigree from years of success with the Ravens, combined with a promising young QB in Jaxson Dart, things could be on the verge of turning around in the Big Apple.
