College football’s camera operators have been getting called out for their zooming in over the past couple of weeks.
It happened at an Ole Miss game earlier this season. It happened at a Florida game last weekend, too.
Saturday night, it happened on NBC.
NBC’s camerman did a double-take on USC Trojans women’s basketball star Jazzy Davidson on Saturday night. The cameraman was doing a shot of the USC women’s basketball team, while he made sure everyone got a long shot of the Trojans star.
Fans were quick to notice that the NBC cameraman gave Davidson a lot more time on the air than everyone else.

“Camera Man couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He had to double up,” one fan wrote in a tweet liked more than 2,000 times.
“Bro had to double check what he was seeing,” one fan added.
“He knew what he was doing, man,” one fan added.
“That camera pan back had zero hesitation 😂,” one fan added.
“Cameraman said let me get a better angle real quick,” one fan added.
Davidson, who is entering her sophomore season, is coming off a big-time freshman campaign. She averaged 17.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. Davidson should be one of the best players in the country heading into her sophomore year.
And, while it’s football season right now, it’s about to be basketball season. The NBA starts later this month, while the men’s and women’s college basketball seasons are set to start later this fall, too.
USC is expected to be among the country’s top teams in 2026-27, thanks in large part to the expected performance from Jazzy Davidson during her sophomore season.
