The crowd in attendance for the College Football Playoff National Championship made its opinion of President Donald Trump known this Monday night.
Before the Indiana Hoosiers and Miami Hurricanes stepped on the field for the national championship, Trump congratulated all the coaches and players on making it to the final game of the 2025 season.
"At its best, college football reflects our timeless American values of family, freedom, unity, and hard work and represents the pinnacle of our national spirit," Trump said. "Melania and I congratulate the Indiana Hoosiers and the Miami Hurricanes on making it to the College Football Playoff National Championship. God bless the talented players and dedicated coaches, the families who love and support them, and the faithful fans who cheer them on. May the best team win!"

During the national anthem on Monday night, Hard Rock Stadium's jumbotron showed Trump in a suite with his family members. You could legitimately hear the crowd roar when the cameras panned over to the president.
Here's the warm welcome that Trump received:
Indiana is off to a hot start.
The Hoosiers jumped out to a 10-0 lead over the Hurricanes thanks to an incredible first half from their defense. Their star quarterback, Fernando Mendoza, hasn't played his best football but he has avoided any costly mistakes.
Miami, on the other hand, has just 69 total yards of offense. That's not a winning formula against Indiana.
Curt Cignetti's squad is one half away from capturing the national championship. We'll see if they seal the deal at Hard Rock Stadium.
