The Roger Goodell-led NFL has pulled back the curtain on who will perform the United States and United Kingdom’s national anthems for its games in London next month.
In a social media post, the NFL announced that Jordyn Simone and Mimi Webb will perform the U.S. and U.K. national anthems, respectively, before the Indianapolis Colts face off against the Washington Commanders on October 4 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Simone is a Los Angeles-based R&B singer and songwriter who first gained attention as a contestant on “The Voice” in 2018. Meanwhile, Webb broke through the British music scene in 2020 and has been one of the brightest rising pop stars ever since.

The following week, NFL fans in London will see a new pair take on the anthems before the Jacksonville Jaguars play the Philadelphia Eagles at the same venue. Mike Terrell was announced as the U.S. national anthem singer, while Laura Wright will handle the U.K. national anthem.
Terrell is a singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles with two Grammy nominations under his belt. For her part, Wright is an English mezzo-soprano born in 1990 and is known for her classical-pop crossover style.
The NFL’s return to London will be its third international stop this season. The league has already played a game in Melbourne in Week 1, while a Rio de Janeiro game between the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys is scheduled for Week 3.
After a third scheduled match at Wembley Stadium between the Jaguars and Houston Texans, the league will then proceed to France, Spain, Germany and Mexico as part of its effort to expand into other international markets.
With the national anthem singers announced, everything is all set for football fans in London early next month. For sure, the city will have its fair share of NFL action as the league’s new season continues to heat up.
