Veteran WNBA guard Natasha Cloud is speaking out following Enes Kanter’s ejection from Sunday night’s Chicago Sky vs. Indiana Fever game.
The Fever topped the Sky in a national TV game on Peacock on Sunday night. However, it was Kanter’s ejection that made national headlines. The former NBA big man, who has “declared” for the 2027 WNBA Draft, sat courtside underneath the basket on Sunday night. He was ultimately tossed from the game, after getting into it with Cloud.
Kanter claims that he was celebrating a Sophie Cunningham 3-pointer when Cloud had words for him. Kanter and Cloud went back and forth. Security ultimately tossed the former Oklahoma City Thunder forward from the game.

Cloud did not speak to reporters following the game. However, she posted a telling message on social media.
“To every trans kid/person, You are apart of MY community & tribe. You belong. You’re loved. You’re seen. You’re perfect as you are. & you will always be protected by me,” Cloud wrote.
Kanter, meanwhile, wore a “pro-woman” T-shirt to the game.
“Woman – adult human female,” his shirt read.
Kanter speaks out after confrontation, too
Kanter spoke to Outkick about what happened, too.
“I was cheering for my friend Sophie because when she shot that three, I put my hands in the air,” Kanter said. “A couple possessions later, she came back and said, ‘She’s not gonna sleep with you.’ And I was shocked. I was like, ‘Listen, I’m not trying to sleep with her. I think she’s awesome. She’s a good friend.’ But I think it has a lot to do with my shirt.
“I was obviously wearing a shirt explaining what a woman is, and I think that had a lot to do with what she thinks about women. I think it triggered her a lot.”
Kanter posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, as well.
“I just got kicked out of a @WNBA game for supporting WOMEN! Let that sink in, AMERICA!” he wrote on X.
“It’s always women hating on other women.”
