The MLS returns after two weeks due to the first round of the Leagues Cup. Nashville SC hosts the MLS champions Inter Miami at GEODIS Park.
Both teams will now focus on the MLS season after both teams were eliminated from the Leagues Cup. Nashville and Inter Miami finished with three points as they held a record of one win and two losses.
This past week, Inter Miami lost 3-2 to Club Leon at home, and Nashville lost 2-1 to Monterrey at home.

Despite the poor participation in the Leagues Cup, Nashville and Inter Miami are on top of the Eastern Conference league table, and a win for either team keeps them at the top of the league table.
Nashville is currently first IN the Eastern Conference with 40 points, and Inter Miami is second with 38 points.
Nashville will remain without Warren Madrigal, who suffered a knock, while Inter Miami will be without Micael Silva, who suffered an injury against Leon and will be out for a few months due to an ankle injury. German Berterame continues to be out due to concussion protocol.
