Chase Elliott wins, Anthony Alfredo advances
Chase Elliott gets the win in the Daytona Duel No. 2 and will have a great starting spot for the Daytona 500. He joins Joey Logano as a winner tonight. It also gives him some points to start off the year and the new Chase format.
Anthony Alfredo gets the final transfer spot among the Open cars, joining Casey Mears from the first Duel race. He will race again in the Daytona 500 with Beard Motorsports. A lot of happy faces on pit road, but also a few teams who have to go home now.
A rather calm race at Daytona. These drivers appeared to have learned from the first Duel race. A solid performance from many in the field and a clean finish. That's something fans and team owners like to see.
