The NASCARCraftsman Truck Series will not qualify after a little bit of rain. Trucks were able to get in some practice laps before the weather came through. Connor Mosack, stepping into that Spire No. 7 after Kyle Busch's win, gets the pole for Saturday's race.
During practice, Kaden Honeycutt had the fastest lap. However, no one was able to make more than 8 laps on the track before the rain came through. Cole Butcher might be P30 in the lineup now, but he will likely drop down further. He destroyed his truck during the opening laps of practice.
That caution definitely didn't help the other drivers get laps in. He did it right in front of Dario Franchitti, too. Close call for the IndyCar legend. The action on Saturday is going to be worth watching as these trucks try to navigate this street course.
