ESPN WNBA analyst Monica McNutt is once again facing backlash for her comments on Caitlin Clark.
Earlier this month, McNutt faced scrutiny when she called for Clark to take more responsibility for the media coverage surrounding her. McNutt urged the former No. 1 overall WNBA Draft pick to think more of the WNBA "sisterhood." She felt that it was Clark's responsibility to calm both the media and her fans down at times.
Now, in the wake of Clark's technical foul controversy - the Indiana Fever guard was hit with her 8th technical foul of the season on Saturday, prompting a one-game suspension, only for the technical foul to get rescinded - McNutt is sounding off once again.

McNutt spoke out after Clark was hit with a technical foul for accidentally bumping into a referee.
“All I’m saying is I have flashbacks to college when my teammate bumped into a coach like this, and it was a problem,” McNutt said on Sunday. “But I think when we analyze it, if Caitlin didn’t say anything, it is marginal, I think rescinding it was fine. But I do understand in the moment how we got here.”
WNBA fans are growing tired of her, though.

"It was in the action of a play. She did not do it in purpose. Come on this girls needs to get off the air. No one cares about college and my guess her teammate did it on purpose," one fan added.
"Harsh words and angry talk can wear people down. It makes us feel tired and sad when public co conversations focus on hate or division instead of helping each other," one fan added.
"I make a deliberate effort to change the channel when she comes on. Hopefully if enough ppl do that ESPN will notice the ratings dip and take her off the air," one fan added.
