Monday delivers a full MLB slate, and with teams still settling into the season, there’s plenty of value to uncover if you know where to look. Early trends are starting to form, creating solid betting opportunities across the board.
This card features five prop bets worth targeting. We’re riding a hot Pirates lineup, fading a strikeout-heavy offense, and backing a first baseman with strong history against his matchup. There’s also a pitcher unlikely to go deep after a shaky debut, plus a tight pitching duel where runs should be limited.

Pittsburgh Pirates Over 7.5 Hits (-130)
The Pirates are in a groove offensively, averaging 6.4 runs during their five-game win streak and 8.2 hits per game on the season while hitting .240 as a team. They’ve cleared this hits number in four of their last five games and bring solid power as well. Facing German Marquez, who allowed eight hits in his first start, this sets up well for another productive night at the plate.
Brewers SP Brandon Woodruff 6+ Strikeouts (-123)
Woodruff is set up well for a strong strikeout outing against the Boston Red Sox after recording six strikeouts in his first start. Boston has been striking out over 10 times per game early this season, creating a favorable matchup. With his strong road splits last year --holding hitters to a .182 average -- the opportunity is there for Woodruff to rack up strikeouts again.

Astros 1B Christian Walker 2+ Total Bases (-108)
Walker is off to a strong start, hitting .324 with two home runs and coming off a 3-for-5 game, and he gets a favorable matchup against Feltner. He is a career 5-for-9 with two home runs and two doubles in their meetings. With the Astros in a good offensive spot, this sets up well for Walker to rack up total bases.
Rockies SP Ryan Feltner Under 14.5 Outs Recorded (+118)
Feltner lasted just three innings in his first start after being hit by a 106 mph line drive and has dealt with multiple injuries, including back and shoulder issues, over the past year. That raises concerns about how deep he can go. Now he faces a Houston Astros lineup that’s hit him hard, making it unlikely he records many outs in this matchup.
Braves at Angels Under 7.5 Total Runs (-105)
Chris Sale and Jose Soriano have both been lights out to start the season, combining to allow just one earned run over 24 innings. The Los Angeles Angels are hitting just .204, while the Atlanta Braves have scored only six runs over their last three games. With both offenses struggling, this sets up well for the Under.
