The Fall Classic begins with two small-market teams in the Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers. Brewers RHP Jacob Misiorowski has been the best pitcher in baseball this season, but he hasn’t been going deep in his playoff appearances. The Rays throw a bit of a curveball with RHP Nick Martinez, who doesn’t miss a ton of bats. With two defensively sound teams, the total is pretty low. With the lights so bright, it’s a good night to take the Over.
Game 1 of the World Series is set for 8 p.m. ET, so have those bets in before first pitch.

Milwaukee Brewers RHP Jacob Misiorowski Under 16.5 Outs (-125)
The Miz hasn’t been as good since the calendar turned to October. He’s 0-0 (two no-decisions) with a 3.24 ERA, but his WHIP is 1.56, and his K-rate is down with 11 K’s in 8 1/3 IP. He has thrown a combined 183 innings on the season and may be wearing down. Misiorowski pitched just four innings against San Diego and 4 1/3 IP against the Los Angeles Dodgers. I think he tops out at five frames.
Tampa Bay Rays RHP Nick Martinez Under 3.5 K’s (-174)
This one is juiced up a bit, but it’s for good reasons. Martinez had three K’s in each of his two postseason starts thus far. He also struck out three Brewers over six innings in his lone start against them this season. The Brewers also don’t strike out a ton, and Martinez has pitched just nine innings across his two postseason starts.
Tampa Bay Rays-Milwaukee Brewers Over 6.5 (-112)
The Rays are 5-4-1 O/U in their last 10 games, and the Brewers are 4-5-1. Both offenses were rolling with Tampa scoring seven runs in two of three, and the Brewers scored six or more in three straight. The Over cashed in two of the three meetings between these teams in the regular season. Neither team has a ton of experience at this heightened stage, so we should see some runs.
