Major League Baseball revealed their Team Power Rankings after a pivotal week and just five short weeks until the Postseason.
In a move that has felt inevitable the past few weeks, the Milwaukee Brewers have overtaken the Los Angeles Dodgers for the number one spot.
The Brewers currently hold the best record in baseball at 81-50 after taking three straight series from the Dodgers, Seattle Mariners and Atlanta Braves.
While the Dodger have picked it up in the last week and currently ride a six-game win streak, there slow play the past few months has cost them the top spot. They still lead the National League West with a 80-51 record.
The Tampa Bay Rays, Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees all fall back into the same spots as last week rankings.
The Rays lead the American League with a 77-53 record, however the Yankees have picked up steam and trail their East division lead by 3.0 games.
The Braves have gone 2-5 since the last power rankings and have given the Philadelphia Phillies huge signs of life for the National League East division.
The Phillies are riding a nine-game win streak going into their series against the Mariners, capped off by a 9th inning walk-off home run by Kyle Schwarber on Sunday against the St. Louis Cardinals. They sit right on the Braves tail, 3.0 back of the division.
Despite two straight series wins, the Boston Red Sox have fallen behind in the AL East race with a 71-59 record. They currently hold the second Wild Card spot.
San Diego comes in at the number nine spot while holding onto the last NL Wild Card Spot. The team has a pretty easy road to the end of the season compared to the Arizona Diamondbacks, who sit right behind them outside of the playoff picture.
Coming into the 10 spot is the Chicago White Sox, who fall from eighth last week. Their magical season still has them leading the American League Central division at a 68-62 record.
