J.T. Realmuto

The first day of MLB playoffs action was packed with drama, from comeback wins to unlikely playoff heroes cementing their place in almost-October lore. Philadelphia Phillies C J.T. Realmuto has good history against the opposing pitcher, which creates upside for a H+R+RBI prop bet. In the same game, the Over has been prevalent, and the Phils and Braves should cash it again. The Houston Astros went with a bullpen game on Tuesday, and it backfired. Look for RHP Hunter Brown to get them back on track for a moneyline win.

We have four games again Wednesday, and the action begins at 2 p.m. ET. Place those bets early, and let’s win some postseason cash.

Best MLB Playoff Bets Today

Philadelphia Phillies C J.T. Realmuto Over 1.5 Hits+Runs+RBIs (+145)

The Braves scored three in the eighth inning to take Game 1 in dramatic fashion 5-3. It was Realmuto that put the Phils ahead 3-2 with a two-run triple in the seventh. Realmuto is a career .500 hitter (5-for-10) against Braves RHP Tyler Mahle. Getting plus-money for the H+R+RBI feels like a gift, so let’s open it.

Philadelphia Phillies at Atlanta Braves Over 7 Runs (-110)

These teams went Over the 6.5 total in Game 1, and the Over is 6-2-2 in the last 10 meetings. In fact, the Over has cashed in the last four meetings. With the Braves on the brink, expect them to have a quick hook on Mahle. This one goes Over.

Houston Astros Moneyline (-165)

The Astros really wet the bed as they dropped Game 1 by a final count of 6-3. They went with a bullpen game, and it backfired as they got down 4-0 after four innings and used eight pitchers in a game that really wasn’t too competitive. RHP Hunter Brown was 6-4 with a 3.19 ERA on the season and went 2-0 with a 1.38 ERA in two starts against these White Sox. He’ll stabilizing things and help even the series.
