Tuesday shifts back to the National League where the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves are tied at one. The Milwaukee Brewers try to sweep the San Diego Padres in the nightcap. Braves LHP Chris Sale has been lining them up and striking them out this postseason. His track record says it’ll continue. The Brewers broke the Padres’ hearts and are set to end their season. Dodgers 1B Freddie Freeman also has a good chance to see a handful of total bases.

Best MLB Playoff Bets Today
Atlanta Braves LHP Chris Sale Over 7.5 K’s (+115)
Sale pitched in two games in the Wild Card Round and struck out 12 in 7 2/3 IP. In two regular-season starts against the Dodgers, he went 1-1 with a 1.13 ERA and 18 K’s in 16 IP. The last time he saw them, he threw a complete-game shutout with 11 K’s. It’s a tall number, but it’s a hittable one.
Milwaukee Brewers Moneyline (+113)
The Brew Crew have won two wild games. In Game 1, Padres 1B Ty France hit what could have been a home run, but the ball hit the roof, which enabled a Brewers outfielder to catch it for the out. They held on to win 3-2. In Game 2, the Padres led the entire game, but renowned closer Mason Miller coughed it up in a 4-3 loss. Brewers RHP Dustin May went 1-1 with a 1.23 ERA in three starts against the Friars this season. Milwaukee ends the Padres’ season.
Dodgers 1B Freddie Freeman Over 1.5 Total Bases (+178)
Of the Dodgers hitters, Freeman is the only one that has had success against Sale. He’s 5-for-16 (.313) lifetime off of him, and four of those five hits went for extra bases. With a chance to nearly double up, and the fact that he homered in Game 2, Freeman is a good bet to rack up a couple of total bases.
