It didn't take very long for MLB Network's A.J. Andrews to go viral this season.
Andrews, 32, was initially known for being an incredible softball player. She earned Pinellas County Player of the Year while at Countryside High School in Clearwater, Florida. Her success at the high school level led to her earning a scholarship to play for LSU's softball team.
After her run in Baton Rouge, Andrews was drafted by the Chicago Bandits of National Pro Fastpitch. In 2016, she made history by becoming the first woman to win a Rawlings Gold Glove Award.
Although her playing career is now over, Andrews is now the host of "Play Ball" on MLB Network.
So why is Andrews the talk of the MLB world this week? Well, a few photos she posted in 2025 resurfaced for the official start of the 2026 season.
"Baseball is back and so am I on your TV Screens every weekend with Playball on MLB Network," she wrote for her caption.
These photos currently have over 1.2 million views on the platform formerly known as Twitter.
MLB fans react to Andrews' viral photo.
Unsurprisingly, Andrews has received plenty of compliments from baseball fans this week.
"This might get folks to start watching baseball," one fan wrote on X.
"Maybe I do like baseball," a second fan said.
"The MLB marketing team is onto something," another fan commented.
Fans should expect to see Andrews on MLB Network this weekend.
