Atlanta Braves right fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. has had an incredible career in Major League Baseball. Through eight seasons, the Venezuela native has slashed .289/.384/.524 with an OPS of .908, totaling 186 home runs and 459 RBIs in 817 games played.

He has been selected to five All-Star Games, won three Silver Slugger Awards and one National League MVP in his tenure with Atlanta.

Acuna has spent his entire career to this point with the Braves after Atlanta signed him as an international free agent in 2014. Since then, the 28-year-old outfielder has blossomed into one of the best position players in all of baseball.

Acuna has struggled to stay on the field since his MVP-winning season in 2023. In the past two seasons, he has combined to play just 144 games due to the second torn ACL of his career.

Despite not playing until May last season, he played phenomenally once he returned. In 95 appearances, Acuna had a slash line of .290/.417/.518 with a .935 OPS to go along with 21 homers and 42 runs driven in.

On Monday, before Acuna laces up his cleats for the ninth season of his career, MLB announced on social media the top 10 right fielders in baseball, according to fan voting. Acuna was honored as the No. 2 right fielder in the majors in this list.

"The fans have made their voices heard! The top 10 right fielders for the 2026 season 😤," the caption read.

Acuna came in behind only three-time American League MVP Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees. The Braves outfielder placed No. 5 among his position group in MLB Network's rankings, which were based on The Shredder system.

In 2026, Acuna will be heading into the final season of an eight-year, $100 million contract extension with the Braves. However, Atlanta holds club options for 2027 and 2028.

The former NL MVP and the Braves will begin their 2026 spring training on Feb. 21 against the Tampa Bay Rays in the Grapefruit League.
