MLB Home Run Predictions Today: HR Prop Bets for Tuesday, May 26

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani (17) hits a double

It’s the "Tuesday Trot Tracker," and several hitters are walking into dream power spots across the slate. We’ve got pitchers struggling badly with home runs and hard contact, while a few bats are bringing hot streaks and dominant matchup history into Tuesday night.

We have Gavin Sheets facing an Aaron Nola matchup that lines up perfectly for left-handed power, Ketel Marte going back against a pitcher he absolutely crushed less than a week ago, and Shohei Ohtani bringing elite power numbers into a matchup against a pitcher he’s already dominated throughout his career. If you’re chasing home run props Tuesday night, these are bats with serious moonshot potential.

Best Home Run Props Today

Gavin Sheets Home Run Bet (+440)

Sheets has mashed right-handed pitching this season with all nine of his home runs coming against righties, and now he gets Aaron Nola, who just hasn’t looked sharp this year. Nola already owns a 6.04 ERA and has given up nine home runs, including five to lefties batting over .300 against him. Sheets has also stayed hot with five home runs already in May. This feels like a really nice spot for another bomb Tuesday night.

Ketel Marte Home Run Bet(+720)

I’m going right back to Marte against Tyler Mahle on Tuesday. Marte absolutely crushed this matchup just six days ago, going 3-for-3 with a home run and a double. He’s now a ridiculous 8-for-12 lifetime against Mahle with three doubles and two bombs. Mahle has also allowed four home runs over his last four starts. With seven of Marte’s eight home runs coming against righties, this feels like another great spot for a long ball Tuesday night.

Shohei Ohtani Home Run Bet (+404)

Ohtani has absolutely owned Kyle Freeland in his career, going 7-for-11 with two home runs and a crazy 1.273 slugging percentage against him. Freeland has also struggled badly on the road this season with a 6.05 ERA while hitters are batting .313 against him. Ohtani continues crushing the baseball with elite hard-hit numbers, and this feels like a really nice spot for another moonshot Tuesday night.
