We have Shohei Ohtani in a smash spot against a pitcher he’s already taken deep, Bryce Harper heating up and ready to leave the yard again, and Troy Johnston stepping into Coors where fly balls turn into souvenirs. If you’re chasing dingers, these are the guys who can go yard in a hurry.
It’s Thursday Tater Time, and we’re hunting bombs across this slate. The matchups are juicy, the pitchers are hittable, and it’s shaping up to be a launch party if you pick the right bats.

Best Home Run Props Today
Shohei Ohtani Home Run Bet (+286)
Ohtani has already shown he can handle Logan Webb, going 8-for-22 with two home runs and a 1.254 OPS in their matchups. Webb hasn’t been sharp to start the season, posting a 5.40 ERA through his first few outings, which adds to the appeal here.
With Ohtani hitting from the left side against a right-hander and the park playing well for power, the setup points toward another strong chance for him to go deep.
Bryce Harper Home Run Bet (+382)
Harper comes in swinging it well, with hits in three straight games and seven over his last six. He’s also had success against Edward Cabrera, going 4-for-10 with a home run and two doubles.
Harper continues to produce against right-handed pitching with strong numbers, and Cabrera has shown vulnerability to lefty power at times. Even in a tougher park for left-handed hitters, Harper’s current form and history in this matchup give him a solid shot to go deep.
Troy Johnston Home Run Bet (+610)
Johnston has been crushing right-handed pitching, hitting .333 with a .931 OPS and already showing legit power. He now draws Matt Waldron, who has struggled badly early, including getting hit hard by lefties (.667).
Add in the game being played at Coors Field — one of the best power parks in baseball — and this lines up as a prime spot for Johnston to leave the yard.
