The Royals superstar is back from the injured list, owns a strong 52.8% hard-hit rate and has done most of his damage against right-handed pitching with 10 of his 13 home runs. Even better, he's 5-for-15 with two homers against Kevin Gausman. While Gausman hasn't allowed a long ball in his last five starts, this feels like the matchup where that streak finally comes to an end.
Pete Alonso Home Run Bet (+416)
Alonso is still mashing baseballs, even if the Orioles' season is winding down. The slugger has 23 home runs, with 18 coming against right-handed pitching, and Friday's matchup couldn't be much better. Nathan Eovaldi has already served up 24 homers this season and has allowed multiple long balls in three of his last five starts. Add in Alonso's 3-for-4 career mark against Eovaldi, and this has all the makings of another Polar Bear moonshot.
Max Muncy Home Run Bet (+424)
Muncy has seen Merrill Kelly plenty over the years, and that familiarity has paid off. The Dodgers slugger is hitting a blistering .410 in 39 career at-bats against Kelly (including postseason), with a home run and four doubles, and just blasted his 22nd homer of the season on Wednesday. His 45.8% hard-hit rate shows the power is still there, while Kelly has allowed 23 home runs, including 15 to left-handed hitters and eight over his last seven starts.
