Major League Baseball’s postseason is about to enter its next stage, and the schedule is officially set.
MLB announced the game times and television information for the American League Division Series and National League Division Series, giving baseball fans their first complete look at a loaded weekend of postseason action.
All four Division Series begin Saturday, Oct. 3, with games spread throughout the day. The action starts at 1 p.m. ET and continues with three more Game 1 matchups, including an 8:30 p.m. ET nightcap between the San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers.
The Division Series are best-of-five, meaning the first team to three victories advances to the League Championship Series.
Here is everything fans need to know about the official ALDS and NLDS schedule, including game times, dates and locations.
ALDS: Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland Guardians
The American League Division Series gets started Saturday afternoon at Progressive Field.
Chicago swept the Houston Astros in the Wild Card Series to earn a matchup against the AL Central rival Guardians.

The Yankees swept the Boston Red Sox in the Wild Card round and now head south to face the top-seeded Rays.

The National League’s top seed gets the final game of Saturday’s four-game marathon.
Milwaukee earned a first-round bye after finishing the regular season with 103 victories. San Diego, meanwhile, swept the Chicago Cubs in the Wild Card Series.

The Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves entered Thursday night’s Wild Card Game 3 tied at one game apiece. The winner gets a daunting reward: a trip to Los Angeles to face the two-time defending World Series champion Dodgers.

MLB has created nearly a full day of postseason baseball with four consecutive Game 1 matchups.
1 p.m. ET: White Sox at Guardians — TBS

6:30 p.m. ET: Yankees at Rays — TBS
8:30 p.m. ET: Padres at Brewers — FS1
The ALDS games will air across TNT Sports platforms, including TBS, truTV and HBO Max. National League games will air across FOX Sports platforms, including FOX and FS1.
ESPN Radio will also provide national radio coverage throughout the postseason.
The format remains straightforward: win three games and move on.
The NLDS could run through a decisive Game 5 on Friday, Oct. 9, while a potential ALDS Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10.
By then, baseball’s final four will be set.
And beginning Saturday afternoon, October baseball is about to get very busy.
