During today’s press conference, New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel provided practice updates on two key playmakers: Rhamondre Stevenson and Mack Hollins.
“I wouldn’t anticipate Mack being out there, and I wouldn’t anticipate [Rhamondre] being out there today,” said Vrabel.

Mack Hollins
Mack Hollins’ uncertain injury status heading into the Patriots matchup with the Raiders this week is unsettling for the offense. Hollins suffered a third-quarter non-contact injury against the Bills and did not return.
While quarterback Drake Maye had the offense humming thanks to timely Efton Chism and Romeo Doubs catches, Hollins has emerged as Maye’s most trusted deep threat, and his absence was felt.
Rhamondre Stevenson
Stevenson appeared to have suffered a toe injury late in the game against Buffalo. While coach Vrabel did not specify the extent of the injury, the fact that New England had eight-year veteran Jamaal Williams for a visit casts doubt on whether Stevenson will be able to suit up on Sunday.
The loss of Stevenson on Sunday would be a huge blow to New England’s running game, as he is the early-down power back. Stevenson finished the Bills game with 13 carries for 47 yards and a touchdown.
Riding high after a comeback win against the Bills, New England is stepping into a home matchup against a 3-1 Raiders squad. Without two key starters, Mack Hollins and Rhamondre Stevenson, it would be a steep challenge for Maye and this offense.
For now, Vrabel and the medical staff are playing it safe to start the practice week. All eyes will be on Thursday and Friday’s injury reports to see if Stevenson and Hollins can make their way back onto the field before Sunday’s kickoff.
