Is Adam Sandler a New England Patriots fan?
The iconic Hollywood star is in attendance at Super Bowl 60 on Sunday evening. Sandler is sitting in a suite at Levi's Stadium. NBC's cameras showed the longtime comedy star in a suite, as Mike Tirico referenced his appearance.
Tirico suggested that Sandler is supporting the New England Patriots as he always has. However, is that really the case?
Sandler is not a New England Patriots fan. He's wearing a generic Super Bowl hat, with the Patriots logo on one side and the Seahawks logo on another side.
He is very much not a Patriots fan.
Sandler is a lifelong Jets fan
Former Jets coach Rex Ryan appeared in Sandler's "That's My Boy" movie.
He played a lawyer who was a Patriots fan.
"He didn't realize he'd have to do about 600 takes, but he rolled with the punches," Sandler said. "He got deep into his character. He had a hard time letting go. He was asking some of the crew members who had DUIs if he could represent them."
Sandler predicted at the time that Ryan would lead the Jets to a Super Bowl.
The Hollywood star said: "We're getting a ring, coach."
Ryan, on a conference call promoting the movie, replied: "I don't want to make a guarantee. We know how that worked last time."
The Jets, of course, did not win a Super Bowl with Ryan. They were among the worst teams in the league once again in 2025.
