With the Final Four just three days away, the Michigan Wolverines had some scary news to share involving point guard Elliott Cadeau.
Cadeau has played a huge role in Michigan's run to the Final Four, averaging 10.2 points and 5.8 assists per game. He was outstanding in the Sweet 16 against Alabama, scoring 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting from the field. The talented guard followed up that performance with 8 points and 10 assists against Tennessee in the Elite Eight.
Unfortunately, Cadeau was unable to travel to Indianapolis with the rest of Michigan's basketball team this Wednesday. That's because he may have experienced an allergic reaction earlier today.
Thankfully, Cadeau should be good to go for Saturday's game against Arizona.
"Before the team departed the Player Development Center today, Elliot alerted the medical staff that he may have had an allergic reaction to something that he ate," the team said in a statement. "The doctors evaluated Elliot and he is fine. Out of an abundance of caution, he is receiving medical supervision and will be traveling to Indianapolis later today."

Who has the edge on Saturday?
Oddsmakers have Michigan as slight favorites over Arizona, but most fans are expecting a nail-biting matchup.
Arizona has received great performances from Jaden Bradley, Brayden Burries, Ivan Kharchenkov and Koa Peat throughout the NCAA Tournament. We don't expect them to shrink on the big stage.
Tipoff for the Michigan-Arizona game is at 8:49 p.m. ET on TNT and TBS.
