Bryce Underwood and the Michigan Wolverines will open up the 2026 college football season on Sept. 5 against the Western Michigan Broncos. After going just 9-4 last season and losing in the Citrus Bowl, the signal-caller is facing increased expectations.

During his freshman year, Underwood completed 202-of-335 passes for 2,428 yards, 11 touchdowns, nine interceptions and a 126.6 passer rating. He also rushed for 392 yards and six touchdowns on 88 carries.

While those are solid numbers for a true freshman, it's far from what the Wolverines expect out of the former top recruit in the 2025 cycle, per Rivals Industry Rankings.

While preparing for the 2026 season, Underwood continues to make moves off the field. He's already revealed name, image and likeness partnerships with companies such as Celsius, Hollister and The Gld Shop.

On Thursday, he added yet another exciting opportunity to his portfolio. Underwood announced a partnership with Proventus Elite, now serving as one of the company's Chief Brand Ambassadors.

"Excited to officially share my role as Chief Brand Ambassador for @proventus_elite.
#Proventus," he wrote via an Instagram post.

Proventus Elite is a thermal electric cold/heating compression therapy device designed to help athletes with recovery. They have also worked with Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Quinyon Mitchell and Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland.

Taking advantage of yet another partnership isn't surprising for Underwood. His On3 NIL valuation of $3 million is the highest for anybody on Michigan and is tied for the fifth-highest in college football.

With another NIL opportunity revealed, he and the Wolverines continue looking toward next season. Underwood is tied for the 14th-best odds (+3500) to win the Heisman Trophy, while Michigan has the 15th-best odds (+4000) of winning the national championship, per DraftKings.
