Things are looking bad for Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs amid reports that there’s a video of him assaulting his ex-girlfriend. But as bad as things look for Jacobs, Micah Parson’s brother Terrence has come out of this looking like a monster himself.
Yesterday reports emerged that the DA’s office prosecuting Jacobs has video of the alleged battery. Most NFL fans and even a good number of Packers fans warned that if there’s video of Jacobs assaulting a woman, he needs to be off the team.
Terrence Parsons Jr. has a different outlook. Taking to X in response to a user calling for Jacobs to be potentially cut, Parsons said that people “gotta relax” over Jacobs’ situation, declaring that “anger gets the best out of anyone” and he deserves a second chance if it’s a misdemeanor.
“A shove? Y’all gotta relax… anger gets the best out of anyone… everyone deserves a second chance… misdemeanors at that,” Parsons wrote.
Everyone gave Parsons a piece of their mind.
Users on X immediately told Parsons off, with some calling him names while others just disagreed with him.
“Idk man shoving your girlfriend to the ground is kinda a huge lapse in emotion control,” one user remarked.
“Second chances and consequences are not mutually exclusive,” another pointed out.
“You telling on yourself right now. Any man that would shove a woman is a coward,” wrote a third.
“I can proudly say I’ve never shoved a woman, or shoved a woman so hard she fell and hit her head. He’s a grown ass man, act like it.”
“You shouldnt slam your girlfriend into a garage door.”

Parsons defended his remarks in some of the comments, mostly by calling other people names or saying something to the tune of “anger is a powerful emotion.”
“Angry is a powerful emotion and the ones we love know how to hit those buttons alotta people have trouble controlling they emotions we all know this and it be the same people talking shit,” he wrote in one response.
He even invoked the Ray Rice elevator punch to make his defense:
“I’ll never be afraid to stand on what I believe in… yall act like he sucker punched that girl this ain’t a ray rice situation never said he was right but it ain’t right calling for that man’s career,” Parsons declared.
Not a good look. Not a good look at all.
