The Fake Post That Escalated Everything
The controversy intensified when a fabricated screenshot of a comment began circulating online, allegedly showing Madalena Aragão insulting Cristiano Ronaldo and telling him to retire.
The message, which included inflammatory wording about Ronaldo, was later confirmed to be completely fake and digitally manipulated.
Despite being false, it spread rapidly across social media platforms, fueling outrage and pushing the situation into a full-blown viral storm.
Georgina Rodríguez’s Reaction
The drama escalated even more when Georgina Rodríguez, Cristiano Ronaldo’s fiancée, appeared to react to the viral fake post.
At the time, she commented in a way that suggested she believed the screenshot was real, which added even more fuel to the fire, saying "“Wow! This generation comes in strong!” (accompanied by laughing emojis).
