Max Caster’s first TNA appearance set off a wave of fans calling for the company to fire him. The reason was one line in his entrance rap at Bound for Glory, delivered a day after a deadly attack on Riyadh’s main airport.
Caster faced Moose on Sunday, Oct. 11, at the Yuengling Center in Tampa. Before the match, he rapped, “And it’s the firing squad. I drop bombs. You don’t even have to fly to Riyadh,” per F4W.

The Attack the Line Referenced
On Saturday, Oct. 10, a strike on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh killed 12 people and wounded more than 300, according to Saudi authorities, who blamed Yemen’s Houthis. The death toll rose to 13 on Sunday, per WrestlingNews.co.
What Fans Said
Fans flooded the replies to TNA’s X post of Caster’s entrance. One user called it “the most disgusting promo,” per F4W. Others wrote, per Ringside News:
“TNA!!!!! Mocking innocent lives lost isn’t humor; it’s disgusting. Families are grieving while you turn their suffering into a joke.”
“Mocking Riyadh’s terrorist attacks while families are mourning is disgusting. Civilians aren’t your material. Delete this garbage immediately and fire his ass.”
“I’m all for edgy s*** in pro wrestling, but there’s a line, and this crosses it by a country mile… There’s edgy, and then there’s just tasteless. Do better.”
Another fan demanded “a public apology, disciplinary action against Max Caster, and a formal review of all appropriate legal measures.”
Qatar Pro Wrestling chairman Ali Al-Marafi also condemned the line. He called it “unacceptable and appalling,” per WrestleZone.
As of Monday, neither Caster nor TNA has responded publicly.
The Rest of the Rap
The rap also took aim at Moose. Caster mocked Moose’s lisp and made a crude sexual line about him, per F4W.
Moose won the match with a spear. Caster refused a handshake before the bell but accepted one after the match.
Has Max Caster Signed With TNA?
TNA has not said whether Caster has signed. Bound for Glory was his first match since his AEW contract expired on Oct. 1. He answered an open challenge Moose issued on the Oct. 8 iMPACT.
Max Caster’s Controversial Raps
This isn’t the first time one of Caster’s raps has drawn heat. In August 2021, an AEW Dark rap referenced Simone Biles’ mental health and the Duke lacrosse case. Tony Khan called it “terrible” and said it “shouldn’t have aired.” Caster was reportedly sent to sensitivity training afterward.
In December 2024, AEW cut a Luigi Mangione line from his Rampage rap. Caster said the editor had “no respect for what I do and no respect for hip-hop.”

Why Did Max Caster Leave AEW?
Caster’s AEW contract expired on Oct. 1. He and his former Acclaimed partner Anthony Bowens became free agents at the same time. Caster hadn’t wrestled for AEW since December 2025 and worked independent shows in the meantime. AEW removed him from its online roster on Oct. 9.
With AEW, Caster and Bowens won the AEW World Tag Team Championship as The Acclaimed. Together with Billy Gunn, they also held the AEW World Trios Championship for a then-record 238 days.
