Mauricio Pochettino continues his preparations for the 2026 World Cup with the USMNT, as the team will soon have friendly matches in the next few months against elite national teams like Portugal and Belgium.
Pochettino became the USMNT head coach in 2024, and his goal is to lead the USMNT to success in the World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Despite the focus being on the World Cup with the USMNT, Pochettino continues to be linked to managerial jobs with clubs, specifically with Premier League clubs.
Tottenham Hotspur has sacked Thomas Frank, and the club is linked with many managers, including Mauricio Pochettino. The reports of Pochettino returning to Spurs seem impossible as the World Cup is months away.

Despite Pochettino's unlikely return to Tottenham Hotspur in the next few months, the current USMNT head coach does not shut down the idea of returning to the Premier League to manage a Premier League team.
Mauricio Pochettino's goal in the Premier League
In an interview on the High Performance Podcast, Mauricio Pochettino was clear in saying that he is aiming towards the Premier League once again in the future, opening the doors of potentially managing again in England soon.
The Former Spurs and Chelsea manager aims on winning the Premier League title. Pochettino didn't mention which club he will aim to win it for, but it leaves the door open to a return to the league.
Pochettino said, "Champions League and Premier League for me... I don't know how, but I'm going to achieve it [winning the Premier League title]. I don't know in which club... In which club, I don't know. I cannot tell you because I don't have a club, I don't own a club."
Pochettino never won the Premier League title but was close in the 2016/17 season with Spurs, finishing second with 86 points and losing out to Chelsea, who won the league with 93 points.
