Manchester United's summer starts on Saturday with the first match of the club's 2026-27 pre-season against Wrexham at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium in Finland.
It's the first of six friendlies for Michael Carrick's side, with fixtures against Rosenborg, Atlético Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Leeds United, and AC Milan still to come before the Premier League season begins.
For Carrick, today's game is the first opportunity to assess his squad after the summer break, hand minutes to several youngsters, and give new signing Andrey Santos his first taste of life in a United shirt.

The biggest talking point is the expected debut of Andrey Santos, who completed his £50 million move from Chelsea earlier this week and travelled with the squad to Finland.
United, however, are still without several familiar names. New signing Youri Tielemans has not travelled after helping Belgium reach the World Cup quarter-finals and is currently enjoying an extended summer break.
Benjamin Šeško and goalkeeper Karl Darlow also remained at Carrington to recover from minor injuries, Manuel Ugarte and Matthijs de Ligt continue their rehabilitation. Some senior internationals, including Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo, Diogo Dalot, and Lisandro Martínez, are also absent after their World Cup commitments.
One academy player supporters won't see is JJ Gabriel. The 15-year-old prospect has been left at home as United continue to manage his workload carefully ahead of the new season.
Carrick has taken a 25-man squad to Helsinki, featuring a healthy mix of experienced first-team players and promising academy graduates.

Injured duo Dom Hyam and Nathan Broadhead are back in contention, giving Phil Parkinson a timely selection boost.
Wrexham are still missing Max Cleworth, Ben Sheaf, and Josh Windass, while Liberato Cacace has been left out despite returning from World Cup duty. Elliot Lee and Ryan Longman have also been rested for the trip to Finland.
