Indiana Fever forward Makayla Timpson asked former teammate Natasha Howard to bring back their TikTok videos.
Howard, who suited up for the Fever last season, shared a throwback TikTok of herself and Timpson dancing, prompting a reaction from the second-year Indiana forward.
The 24-year-old wrote a lighthearted message to Howard with one request.
“Gotta run our TikTok’s back😭😂,” Timpson wrote in an Instagram story.
Timpson and Howard formed a close bond during the 2025 season, when the latter returned to the original team that selected her as the fifth overall pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft.
During this period, the three-time WNBA champion and 2019 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year served as Timpson’s mentor. They also shared a history through their Florida State roots, even though they were never teammates in college.
Timpson broke several of Howard’s program records for rebounds and double-doubles.
Timpson and Howard helped the Fever win the 2025 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup title, further solidifying their bond.
After a year under Howard’s wing, the 24-year-old made a leap in her second season, improving her averages to 5.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in 19.1 minutes per game.
Timpson also started 14 of 43 games this season and notched a career-high 20 points on August 16 in an overtime win over the Atlanta Dream.
Both are under contract through 2027, with Timpson entering the final season of her three-year rookie deal with Indiana. Howard, meanwhile, is under contract with the Minnesota Lynx through 2027 after signing a two-year, $1.4 million contract in April.
