New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins has earned the NFLPA Community MVP award for Week 4 of the 2026 season after supporting a special event for athletes and their families.
Hollins fully funded a Special Olympics Family Field Day that welcomed 125 athletes. The event gave participants and their families an opportunity to take part in sports and enjoy a day built around community and inclusion.
The recognition also comes with a $10,000 donation from the NFL Players Association to a charity of Hollins’ choice, adding another layer to his contribution beyond the event itself.
Hollins’ involvement highlights the impact NFL players can have away from the field. By covering the cost of the event himself, the Patriots receiver helped make the gathering possible for the athletes and families who attended.
The NFLPA’s Community MVP program recognizes players for their charitable work and efforts to support their communities. Hollins’ selection places a spotlight on a contribution that extended beyond his role with New England.
The $10,000 donation gives him another opportunity to support a cause that matters to him. The charity he chooses will receive additional funding tied directly to the recognition.

Hollins is also preparing for the Patriots’ upcoming AFC East matchup against the Buffalo Bills. New England will look to build momentum after a difficult start to the season, with Hollins among the receivers expected to contribute.
For now, though, the recognition is about his work away from football. His Special Olympics Family Field Day brought 125 athletes together, and the NFLPA honor adds further attention to the community effort.
