Logan Paul has taken another shot at Tom Brady, this time explaining why his opinion of the NFL legend changed after meeting him away from the football field. While “The Maverick” still acknowledged Brady as the greatest quarterback, he had harsh words for how Brady allegedly behaved around him.
During a live appearance on the “PBD Podcast” at Vault 2026, Logan Paul was asked whether his beef with Brady was genuine. After initially making it clear he wasn’t holding back his feelings, Paul explained that his issue wasn’t Brady’s accomplishments but how the seven-time Super Bowl champion carried himself around him.
Paul was reminded that Tom Brady is widely regarded as the GOAT, but he did not dispute that point. Instead, he separated Brady’s legendary football career from his personal opinion of the retired quarterback.
“I don’t disagree that he’s the GOAT, but he could still be a giant Douchebag.”
Logan Paul then explained what had changed his perception of Brady. He claimed that Brady acted as though he was above everyone backstage and said the former quarterback had repeatedly antagonized him during their interactions.
“Bro, he walks around backstage like he’s the king. And yes, we all know he’s the GOAT, but show a little humility and also be a man of your word. You’re going to talk (expletive) to me about a flag football game and degrade me and what I stand for, and then not even show up and get beat by me, and then when you’re mad about it, you’re a sore loser.”
The Vision member continued:
“Playing ping-pong with him, spiking the ping- pong ball with me, throwing the football at me. For what reason, bro? I used to admire what he’s done. And I used to like him on the field, but when I met him in person, I had to cut it.”
Paul’s comments make clear that his frustration with Brady extends beyond their flag football matchup. He believes the interactions away from competition played a significant role in changing the way he viewed one of his former sporting idols.

The tension between the two dates back to February, when Brady appeared on Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast. “The Maverick” argued that his wrestling background had made him a highly athletic performer, while Brady pushed back and compared professional football to a different level of competition. Their exchanges continued into the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in March, where Paul’s team defeated Brady’s team 34-26.
The rivalry escalated in July when Brady and Paul faced each other at Fanatics Fest in New York. Brady appeared to slap Paul during the onstage confrontation, with Karl-Anthony Towns stepping between them. Paul later claimed the incident happened because he was mocking Brady over the flag football result, while Brady responded by calling Paul a “dork” and later referred to him as a “nerd.”
The incident also came shortly after Tom Brady said he would be interested in having at least one WWE match, telling WWE President Nick Khan to find a storyline for him. That connection has naturally fueled speculation about whether the ongoing rivalry could eventually lead to a WWE appearance, although the authenticity of the feud itself has not been established.
For now, Paul’s latest comments suggest that whatever happens next between the two, he is still holding onto the personal grievances that developed during their increasingly public back-and-forth.
