Dream vs Valkyries Game 2: Players to Watch
Rhyne Howard will be one of Atlanta’s main players to watch after a difficult shooting performance in Game 1. She finished with 12 points, shooting 3-of-14 from the field, and will need a more efficient outing to help the Dream level the series. Allisha Gray led Atlanta with 19 points in the opener.
Reese has been crucial for Atlanta, particularly in the paint. She scored 14 points in Game 1, including 11 in the first quarter, but was held scoreless in the second half.
For the Valkyries, Gabby Williams was the standout performer in Game 1, scoring 26 points to lead both teams. Golden State will look to her again as it attempts to protect home court and move within two wins of the championship.
Both teams are seeking the first WNBA championship in franchise history.
