Sophie Cunningham played a big role for the Indiana Fever in their 113-91 blowout win over the Toronto Tempo at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday. The veteran guard finished with 24 points, along with six rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes off the bench.
Even more remarkable, Cunningham tied her career-high in 3-pointers made in the win. She made six of her seven attempts from deep, including three in the third quarter that allowed Indiana to maintain a double-digit lead.
Unsurprisingly, the Fever named Cunningham their StatLeader of the game. The team also highlighted her career-tying performance from 3-point range.
"Sophie Cunningham matched her career-high in threes tonight against the Tempo," the Fever wrote in the caption of their post.

Lexie Hull, for her part, didn't hide her delight at seeing her teammate's sharp shooting. On her Instagram story, she shared the Fever's post about Cunningham and hyped her up.
"She's on fireeeeeee," Hull wrote, along with a flexing emoji.
Hull's message certainly describes Cunningham's recent performances well. After all, prior to the victory over the Tempo, the 29-year-old star also stepped up in a big way for the Fever against the Connecticut Sun.
Cunningham scored all 11 of her points in the final two minutes of the contest, propelling Indiana to an 85-75 victory.
Cunningham is now averaging 10.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game in the 2026 season. She's fourth on the team in scoring, only behind their core group of Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston.
