Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham have both been working hard to build their respective brands away from the Indiana Fever. While both veterans remain fully committed to helping the Fever succeed in the WNBA, they are also doing what they can to extend their portfolios outside basketball.
Cunningham recently rebranded her podcast. She parted ways with former co-host and longtime friend West Wilson to start a revamped podcast with renowned performance coach Drew Hanlen titled “No Hesitation.”
In an exclusive interview with Athlon Sports, Hull shared her thoughts on her Fever teammate’s latest move.
“I love seeing Sophie do that,” Hull said. “I mean, she’s just such a naturally funny person, such a big personality. So I think podcasting is just a fun outlet for her.
“And it’s cool watching people figure out what they’re passionate about outside of basketball.”
Hull then revealed that she actually had a lighthearted conversation with Cunningham about possibly starting their own show.
“It’s funny, Sophie and I joked about doing something together, which would have been fun,” Hull shared. “But yeah, it’s just fun to watch her do that.”

Hull has been a guest on Cunningham’s podcast, and she has considered starting her own show. However, Hull has put those plans on hold as she focuses on other ventures away from basketball.
“Yeah, I think it’s a fun thing to do,” Hull acknowledged. “But right now, I just don’t have the time. I enjoy being a guest on others’ (podcasts), though.
“It’s fun to get to go and have interesting conversations and fun conversations. And for now, I’ll stay as a guest, but maybe down the line. We’ll see.”
Hull isn’t closing the door on potentially launching her own show. Cunningham is one of her closest friends on the Fever, and Hull has already revealed they have talked about doing something together, albeit jokingly.
For now, though, Hull is primarily focused on growing her performance-driven beauty brand FORTA. She launched the cosmetics company with former Stanford roommate Sarah Guller earlier this year, and they have since expanded their product line.
FORTA was recently accepted into the prestigious 2026 Sephora Accelerate Program. The six-month incubator program provides emerging brands like FORTA with mentorship and a potential pathway toward launching in Sephora retail stores.
At the same time, Hull is also focused on the Fever’s quest for a WNBA championship. They play on Tuesday in a home game against the No. 1 seed Minnesota Lynx.
Hull and Co. enter that matchup with a 27-15 record and fifth in the standings, with two games remaining in the regular season. The Fever are looking to finish in the top four in order to secure home-court advantage in the opening round of the playoffs.
