Lexie Hull and the Indiana Fever were eliminated from the 2026 WNBA Playoffs on Thursday, falling to Jackie Young and the defending champion Las Vegas Aces 2-1 in the opening round, which was topped off with a 94-83 Game 3 loss. Now, Hull will be heading into her sixth season with the Fever in 2027 and the final year of her two-year, $1.568 million contract.
Hull has become an important role player for Indiana over the last few years, and in the 2026 regular season, she averaged 5.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 41 starts. However, the former Stanford Cardinal guard saw her playing time and scoring drop in the series against Las Vegas, tallying 3.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game.
And in Game 3 against the Aces, Hull received only 13 minutes of action despite starting, finishing without a field goal attempt.

On Saturday, Hull and some of her Fever teammates held their exit interviews following their playoff exit. And when asked what lessons they learned from the series against Las Vegas, commenting on Indiana’s growing playoff experience before having nothing but positive things to say about the “efficient” Aces.
“I think every year we’re getting a little bit more experience and I think that’s only going to help us down the road,” Hull said. “But I think the biggest thing is the margin of error in the playoffs is really small in order to win games. It’s harder to win games during the regular season, and then when you get to the playoffs, everything is taken up another notch.
“And I think from the start of the series, we came out flat in that first game, and I think that hurts us. It’s hard to get back from. You wanna take advantage of every single moment, and I think that’s something Vegas does a really good job of is showing up and making sure that they’re being the aggressor…
“And I think that’s something we’re all learning. You can’t take a play off. You can’t take a game off because it’s so hard to win. And I think you see players on Vegas just making shots. They’re efficient, they’re showing up, and I think that’s something that we are only going to get better at moving forward.”
After defeating the Fever, the Aces have advanced to the semifinals, where they will face the Golden State Valkyries.
