Kelsey Mitchell continues to excel as one of the WNBA’s most dangerous scorers. In the 40 games she has played this season, the All-Star guard has averaged 25.0 points on 51.3% shooting, along with 1.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
Mitchell is second in the WNBA in scoring, behind only Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson (26.0 points).
Mitchell most recently won the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month award for August, marking the second straight month she has won the honor.
Considering her success this season, Mitchell also continues to draw praise from her peers and teammates. In fact, in her latest Instagram post where the Fever guard highlighted her disciplined and self-reliant mindset, her teammates and fellow WNBA players commented to heap praise on her.

Among those who commented was Fever fan-favorite Lexie Hull, who had a short but powerful message to describe Mitchell.
“1 of 1,” Hull wrote, highlighting how remarkable Mitchell has been throughout her career.
Mitchell has undoubtedly been a positive presence for Indiana, appearing in every game while taking charge of the offense.
The veteran guard’s ability to create shots from the paint and beyond the 3-point line has given the Fever a reliable source of buckets alongside Caitlin Clark. As a result, the team sits in the top five of the WNBA standings with a 26-14 record.
Indiana has only four regular-season games left after the WNBA comes back from its break. If Mitchell continues playing at a high level, it’s not hard to see the Fever climbing further and possibly finishing in the top three in the standings.
