Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull sent her reaction to teammate Monique Billings’ recent social media post.
After completing her first season with the Fever, Billings has taken some time for herself during the offseason. She recently shared photos from her trip to Singapore.
The 30-year-old veteran posted a 10-photo carousel on Instagram, highlighting the food she enjoyed during her stay in Southeast Asia.
“A little dilly-dally through Singapore, where my camera roll is 3% landmarks & 97% food 🍢🥥🫕🧋💌,” Billings’ caption read.
This quickly caught the attention of fans and teammates alike. Among them was Hull, who reacted to Billings’ post using just one word.
“Yesssssss,” Hull commented.
Indiana finished 28-16 this season, securing the sixth seed heading into the playoffs. But they bowed out in the first round after a hard-fought three-game series against the defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces.
Billings averaged 6.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.0 assist in 43 regular-season games. The 6-foot-4 forward started 31 games for head coach Stephanie White this past season.
The former UCLA star still has one year left in her Indiana contract. She signed a two-year, $1.6 million deal with the team in April.
Meanwhile, Hull has wrapped up her fifth season with the Fever. The 27-year-old guard averaged 5.2 points and 3.0 rebounds as a starter. Like Billings, Hull is also entering the second season of her two-year deal with Indiana.
Hull has also been busy in the offseason, recently turning her focus to her beauty brand, FORTA Cosmetics.
