Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston powered the Indiana Fever to a crucial 99-89 victory over the Las Vegas Aces in Game 2 of their WNBA playoff series. The win allowed Indiana to force a do-or-die Game 3 for a spot in the semifinals.
However, several other players stepped up and played big roles for Indiana in the win. In fact, Clark herself credited veteran forward Myisha Hines-Allen for helping the team improve its physicality.
One other player who made a huge impact for the Fever in the victory was rookie guard Raven Johnson. The 10th overall pick of the 2026 WNBA Draft finished Game 2 with six points, two rebounds, one steal and one block.
Johnson had a plus-minus rating of +15, tied with Clark for the best on the team.
The 23-year-old guard also had a number of highlight plays, including a buzzer-beating layup at halftime that gave Indiana a 48-43 lead.

Following Johnson’s performance, her Fever teammates Lexie Hull and Boston were full of praise for her.
On their Instagram stories, the two WNBA stars shared how proud they were of Johnson, as she continued to be an impactful contributor in her first postseason run.
“proud of you my girl,” Hull wrote while tagging Johnson. Boston had a similar message, stating, “baby rook, so proud of you!!!”
Johnson certainly deserves the praise she’s getting. She’s been a consistent defensive force for Indiana in two playoff games so far, even after she had limited playing time during the second half of the regular season.
The Fever rookie brings some much-needed defense that Indiana has been lacking, and that will be crucial in Game 3 if the team wants to get past the Aces and reach the semifinals.
