Leigh Wood and Josh Warrington are set to run it back after delivering one of the most solid all-British fights in recent memory. Their first clash had momentum swings, drama, and a definitive finish that still resonates with fight fans. Now Wood and Warrington meet again in Nottingham, with pride, redemption, and unfinished business driving the rematch.
In October 2023, Leigh Wood stopped Josh Warrington via a seventh-round TKO in Sheffield to retain his WBA crown. The finish was sudden and decisive, but the action leading up to it was intense. Warrington had moments. Wood closed the show. That’s why the sequel matters.
