Legendary Major League Baseball star Barry Bonds has landed a new TV role ahead of the 2026 season.

The 2026 MLB regular season is set to begin next week. The New York Yankees will be taking on the San Francisco Giants in the regular season opener. The game will be airing exclusively on Netflix.

The game, which is part of a season-opening three-game series, will be a standalone broadcast next Wednesday night. It should be a good one.

Heading into the regular season opener, Netflix has announced some special news. Bonds, one of the greatest players in MLB history, will be joining the broadcast.

He's landed a special TV gig.

"Barry Bonds is in the building. The Home Run King, 7x NL MVP, Single Season Home Run Leader and Giants legend joins the crew for MLB Opening Night: Yankees vs. Giants. LIVE on Netflix March 25 with special coverage beginning at 7PM ET | 4PM PT," the streaming platform announced.

It's going to be fun to watch.

First pitch between the Yankees and the Giants is scheduled for 8 p.m. E.T. next Wednesday night.
