As if the debate surrounding LeBron James and Michael Jordan wasn't intense enough, it sounds like NBA fans will be getting another docuseries like "The Last Dance."
Back in 2020, ESPN released a docuseries on Jordan's legendary career with the Chicago Bulls. It featured interviews with a handful of his teammates, including Steve Kerr, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. This documentary ultimately won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series.
While it'll be tough to top "The Last Dance," Andrew Marchand of The Athletic is reporting that ESPN and James are closing in on an agreement for a behind-the-scenes documentary.
"The documentary is expected to also use footage from earlier in James’ career, as NBA crews have filmed him since he was a rookie, including some never-before-seen footage," Marchand wrote. "The financial terms and potential other components of the agreement are not yet known."

Is this LeBron's last season?
Before the Philadelphia 76ers signed James to a two-year, $8 million deal, the four-time MVP said he could play two more seasons before calling it a career.
“It’s a big decision for not only myself but for my family as well. For where I want to spend the last part of my career,” James said. “The last year or the last two years of my NBA career
For now, James is focused on leading the 76ers to a championship in 2027. He'll be surrounded by a star-studded lineup of Jaylen Brown, VJ Edgecombe, Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid.
